Nova is very childish. She loves to joke around, be playful, and rarely is seen to be serious. Being the child that she is, she is extremely clumsy and is constantly tripping all over the place. Nova is always full of energy (except when she first wakes up). She is also quite gullible and will believe just about anything someone tells her.

As a mage, Nova's personality is the polar opposite of what she is like when she is a human. In this form she is mature and pretty bold. She doesn't really care about what other people think. She enjoys getting into people's heads and watching them squirm.

[History]

Nova was born into a fairly rich family. Her parents were very successful business owners of very high end companies. They were always busy and Nova was constantly left at home with the maids. Even though she was constantly left alone, she still loved her parents dearly and she understood that they had to work. Nova still had a happy family life because her parents always made time to spend with her. She especially enjoyed the days she could go to their work parties because she got to dress up and spend all night with her parents.

This all changed when they had a second child. When Nova was 13, her parents had a baby boy. At first Nova was excited to have a new little brother. Her mother was home more often to take care of the baby and she also had someone to play with when her parents were gone. Slowly her opinion of her little brother began to change. When he was a year old, her parents began to be stricter and more distant with her. They began spending more time with him and more time sending her away. Little by little she began to resent her little brother little by little with each passing day. She made numerous attempts to gain some attention from her parents. She started to act more childish, despite her age, and even began to act a little bratty in order to get her parents to pay more attention to her. All her desperate attempts only made matters worse. Soon her childish act became a regular part of who she was.

Everyday she acted as if everything was alright and nothing was wrong with her. She was always smiling and energetic despite of how she really felt deep down. She continued to act like the good child so that her parents wouldn't be any more displeased with her than they already were. But deep down she hated it. She hated acting like that and always being second in her parents eyes. Everything she once enjoyed doing began to be the things she hated the most. What she hated most of all was how happy her brother was all the time. No matter how many times she would push him away or do something deliberately to hurt him, when no one was watching, he would come back smiling as if nothing happened. He was always there with a cheerful smile, which only irritated Nova.

On the night of her brothers 4th birthday, her parents sent her out with him to celebrate his birthday. She was completely against this but being the good child she was, she happily went a long with it. Taking this opportunity to get back at them, Nova took her little brother to a place far away where there were not a lot of people. She led him up to a secluded area in the middle of a forest. Finding a good spot, Nova planed on leaving him there and claiming that he had gotten kidnapped when she got back home. She climbing down a small cliff, knowing that he couldn't follow her down, she began to walk away. Behind her she could hear her little brother crying out to her and unable to handle all of his cries, she climbed back up to get him. Standing at the edge of the cliff, she looked down at her little brother who was happily holding her hand. Noticing that she was looking down at him, he looked up at her and smiled. It was that smile that she hated so much. All of her frustration and jealously started to bubble up to the surface. How could he stand there and smile at me after I almost left him her to die? Why is he so happy to see me? she thought to herself as she slowly let go of his hand. She drew her hand back as if she was about to push him but stopped right before she touched him. She couldn't do it. With a long sigh, she turned away from the cliff and lightly pushed him in the direction that they came from. Taking a step forward she heard a cracking sound. With out a moments notice, she pushed her little brother away from where they were standing and as soon as she did that, the cliff where she was standing gave out and she fell down to the bottom. The last thing she remembered seeing was her brother's shocked face as she fell off the cliff.

The next thing she knew, she woke up and it was pitch black. Suddenly she could hear a voice call out to her in the darkness.
"Your life was cut short after doing such a noble deed. Now that simply won't do."

"Huh? Who's there?" Confused by the sudden voice, Nova whipped her head around to see where it was coming from. Nothing was there and all she could see was darkness.

"Would you like a second chance?"

Suddenly a bright light appeared and Nova headed straight towards it. She ended up in a white room with two doors in it. One was a plain door with nothing on it, the other had a necklace hanging off of the door. Walking up to the door with the necklace, she noticed that this was the necklace that her little brother had made for her. "What? How did this get here? I thought I threw this away!"

"If you want to live, take that necklace and go through that door. You will start your life a new, but there is a catch. If you so choose to live, you will from then forth live your live as a mage. All of your family and loved ones will be gone. Do you still wish to go on?"

Without even stopping to think about her choice, Nova grabbed the necklace and went through the door.
